A little about Marine Field Leather…
Originally made by Horween Leather Co in 1941 for the U.S. Marine Corps’ iconic N-1 Field Shoes (“Boondockers”) for the harsh Pacific Theater and desert campaigns. This highly durable and water-resistant (due to its heavy oil-tan) cowhide makes an excellent western boot for a variety of uses!
